The Mind of Christ

Ephesians 2:10

“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”

1 Corinthians 2:15-16

“The person with the Spirit makes judgments about all things, but such a person is not subject to merely human judgments, 16 for, ‘Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?’ But we have the mind of Christ.”

One thing we must remember daily is the truth that 2 Corinthians 5:17 reveals, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” In Christ, we are a totally new creation, one that never existed before!

In Him, we are created by God to do good works. Our good deeds do not save us, but anyone who is truly saved will, by the Holy Spirit, certainly accomplish good things which help present Jesus to the world. We are always to “re-present” Him. Over and over, the world should see Jesus in us.

The Word says, by and through the Holy Spirit, we are now able to make good judgments about all things because we have the mind of Christ! For me, making sound decisions was not something I had been doing in the midst of my sin and addictions. Do I have a witness?

What refreshing, important truths these are today! Walk in them today.

TODAY’S CHALLENGE:

Put the Word of God deep into your heart. Confess this aloud, and repeat it often today:

“I am a new creation in Christ. I am His workmanship created in Christ Jesus. Therefore, I confess I have the mind of Christ and the wisdom of God is formed within me.”
