No Other Savior

Isaiah 43:11

“I, even I, am the LORD, and apart from me there is no savior.”

Isaiah 45:22

“Turn to me and be saved, all you ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other.”

Jehovah God is speaking to us very clearly. This is hard to misunderstand. Many refuse to believe it; some reject it outright; and, others want to argue about it.

But, one day, everyone will have to face the One Who said it: Jehovah; the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob; the Maker of Heaven and earth; the King of kings; the Lord of lords; the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ; the Great I AM; and, the King of Glory!

Everyone will face Him alone. Neither your mother, grandmother, dad – not even your “cellie” – will be by your side. We will all have to individually account for what we did about this truth when it was presented to us. Paul says no one will have an excuse. See Romans 1:18-20.

Christianity is “all inclusive” – anyone “in all the ends of the earth” may call on the Name of the Lord and be saved (Joel 2:32). However, it is “exclusive” in the sense that it is only for those who truly repent and “turn” solely to Jesus (John 14:6). We come to God only on His terms.

There is no middle ground, no gray area. Choose this day Whom you will serve.

TODAY’S CHALLENGE:

Pray to the Father, in Jesus’ Name, that every unbeliever you know will come to surrender to God, by the drawing of their hearts by the Holy Spirit. Be specific. Pray for them regularly.
