Jesus was Made to be Sin
2 Corinthians 5:21
“God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”
Jesus was made sin with our sinfulness, so that we could be made righteous with His righteousness. The Father declares as righteous all those who appeal to the death of Christ as payment for their sin. No sin is excluded. We are saved by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone.
There is nothing in the entire universe more powerful than the Blood of Jesus that takes away our sin. When we do not deny the Spirit – and thereby accept by faith what Jesus did for us – there is no sin (and no sinner) beyond God’s love and forgiveness.
My many sins were taken away! This was a “break-through” realization for me. I knew I could start over. I found present and eternal hope, and freedom in Jesus, when I accepted the Father’s forgiveness! Have you finally and fully accepted His mercy, love and forgiveness?
In Christ Jesus, I have the very righteousness He has. I can stand before the Father unashamed and free from condemnation as if I had never sinned. So can you! God does not discriminate. What He does for one He will do for all!
TODAY’S CHALLENGE:
Thank God the Father for accepting you as righteous because you are in Christ Jesus. Let the Holy Spirit change you today so you can more fully realize the incredible power of righteousness.
