We will never know this side of heaven how the Holy Spirit will use our seed-planting to bring multiple harvests resulting in countless lives touched by the Good News of Jesus!
We are often asked why we choose to do prison ministry. Charles T. Studd, missionary to formerly unreached people in Asia and Africa, said it best:
There are so many creative ways to minister and work in the harvest fields! God can and will send out anyone to be His voice, hands, and feet!

HIS Fruit from 1994 is Still Bearing Fruit!
We will never know this side of heaven how the Holy Spirit will use our seed-planting to bring multiple harvests resulting in countless lives touched by the Good News of Jesus! Recently, we received a most encouraging e-mail that re-affirms this:
“Hello Don C. My name is (D.S.) and I'm sure you don't remember me. But in 1994 I gave my life to Christ at the Holiday Unit in Huntsville Texas. Your ministry was instrumental in providing me with a solid foundation for moving forward with my life in Christ. You yourself baptized me in a horse trough there inside a building on a very cold day. I was going through some stuff I held onto and your Freedom in Jesus Ministry brochure was among the stuff. I googled it and here you are still working for the Lord I presume. I never did return to prison or jail of any kind. In fact I planted a Church in Willow Park, TX, and have since planted another in Weatherford, TX, ... Don I could not pass up the opportunity to say thank you and let you know you’re making a difference. Thank you Don. Your brother in Christ and a stone in your Crown, Pastor (D.S.). Love you man!!”
Everyone who was on the team that day in 1994, gave financial support to make it possible, and/or interceded for the team and Crusade, ALL share in the many jewels for their crowns. In fact, rewards are still being accumulated through the work of the former offender who became a Pastor. Praise God!
